Tritons Junior Swimmers rank amongst the best

Congratulations to the 39 Tritons swimmers who achieved JX Qualification for season 09/10.

The Australian Junior Excellence Program (JX) recognises, rewards and encourages junior swimmers aged 9 - 13 years, who achieve times set by Swimming Australia and based on their best performances throughout the season. Swimmers qualify at one of four levels  Gold, Silver, Bronze or Green standard depending on these achievements and as recognition of this achievement receive the following:

  • A distinctive JX cap (9 and 10 year olds) or JX shirt (11 to 13 year olds) 
  • A JX certificate of achievement, signed by the National Youth Coach and members of the Australian Swim Team!
  • A JX motivational poster, featuring elite Australian swimmers
  • Publication of their name on this website
  • A JX DVD with tips from Swimming experts

Scholarship: Bendigo Bank Donc East Templestowe Vill CA Tritons Community Swimming Scholarships 2010

The Bendigo Bank has a strong philosophy of giving back to the communties in which it operates.  In line with tradition the Bendigo Bank - Doncaster East/Templestowe Village Branches reognize the cost both in finances and time, talented and dedicated athletes and their families endure to excel in the sport of swimming.

This recognition has lead to the formation of the Bendigo Bank - Doncaster East/Templestowe Village, CA Tritons Community Scholarships for Swimmers (Gold, Silver and Bronze Scholarships).  These scholarships operate for the competitive swimming season i.e., the 1st of May to the 30th of April, annually.

Patron - Shayne Reese OAM.  Shayne Reese, Olympic Champion/Medalist and past CA Tritons Swimmer (previously Carey Aquatic). has agreed to be the patron for these scholarships.  Shayne is a true embodiment of the characteristics that the successful applicants must possess.

2009 Australian Age Championship Results PDF Print E-mail

The 2009 Australian Age Championships have just concluded and the CA Tritons finished 31st overall and 6th out of the Victorian Teams that competed.  I was impressed with how our athlete conducted themselves and with how they competed.  I would also like to thank our coaches Carl, Margie and Amberley for the outstsnding contribution they have made to our club, our athletes and the results we achieved over the week of competition.  Please Click Here for a summary of our results.  Best regards, David Plush, President
